I have loads of ideas for my house floating around in my head all the time. However, lack of time & funding delays bringing these ideas to fruition. BUT at last, an idea that has been bouncing around in my head FOREVER was made a reality this past weekend! I give you....
The R Family Command Center!!!! TaDa!!
Yea!!!, A place for the kids backpacks, a place to write messages to each other, a big family calendar (each of us are assigned a different color--yes I'm THAT nerdy), a home for the keys, a cool clock to hopefully keep us on schedule & my fun FHE board that tracks who's in charge of what for family nights.
I LOVE it!!!! (thanks honey for staying up late to get it just right!)
Yeah, I know its not February yet, but I wanted to start FRESH in a new month. :)

Wow Jen, It looks even better on the wall than it did in Target. I am very jealous. I want one like that too! Oh some day... Congrats on getting it up and off your bedroom floor...I can't wait to see what is next!

That is WAY cool. Even better than pottery barn....I always always wanted something like that....oh well......

I actually made the calendar cuz I couldn't find one I liked. Used a big plain whiteboard, car pin striping (totally cheap & nice & skinny) & fun day of the week magnets from Target. We did the FHE board at a Super Saturday...I have the name of the gal who sells the vinyl letters & I can find out about the wood & nails too if you are interested....email me!
